Roles & Responsibilities :  - To oversee the development of the legal and compliance strategy for MobiKwik.   - To liaise with regulatory bodies and relevant third parties in ensuring that MobiKwik applies the highest level of compliance on all levels.   - The Head of Legal & Compliance is responsible for the provision of timely advice/guidance to MobiKwik Management together with the management of compliance processes and procedures applicable to MobiKwik.   - To develop, direct and oversee effective implementation of Regulatory Compliance and Community Reinvestment Act programs utilizing 25 years of banking, regulatory compliance and legal experience covering all regulatory aspects of various size financial institutions including Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, Wholesale Banking, Residential Mortgage, Private Banking, Credit Card Issuing, Merchant Acquiring and Brokerage businesses.   - Responsible for the firms Banking Regulatory Compliance practice, covering all areas of regulatory compliance programs including financial institutions examination management, the Bank Secrecy Act anti-money laundering programs, Reserve Bank of India compliance, consumer compliance, fair lending, mortgage lending investigations and remediation and Tax compliance.  - Providing banking and AML regulatory advice and remediation services to international financial institutions related to Correspondent Banking.  - Additionally, you will assist in the management of the day to day activities of the Reserve Bank of India  Qualifications and Prerequisites :  - Be a fully qualified Solicitor or Barrister / Law Degree or equivalent and at least with relevant compliance experience within Financial Services environment or compliance experience in insurance industry or in financial services performing in a capacity related to compliance, audit, legal, regulatory affairs, or another related area of expertise.  - Fully conversant with relevant regulatory Directives and guidelines.  - Experience in drafting contracts, notices and handling negotiations with merchants.   - Experience of developing and managing Compliance Monitoring Programs.  - Have substantial expertise in General Commercial and IP matters (including contract Law, copyright and trademarks, Data Protection) Articulate, effective communication skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally (lawyers, regulators, auditors) at all levels  - Ensure effective compliance with regulatory requirements with proven commercial acumen.  - Implement, publish and drive internal communication of relevant policies and procedures  - Excellent communications skills (written and oral).  - Expert knowledge of compliance and business functions, processes/procedures, workflow, systems, and transactions
