Position Title: Channel Manager - North  Location: Gurgaon  Reports To: Head - Supply Chain  Division: Supply Chain  Main Purpose:   Medtronic is evolving the business model in which we are doing business directly with the customers. This is the cornerstone of our strategy to build a stronger customer connect. The incumbent will be responsible to translate customer needs to solutions using a multi-functional approach.  Key Accountabilities:  - To ensure revenue off-take and payment realization  - Troubleshooting as it relates to service levels  - Single point of contact and therefore owns the delivery to the account  - To ensure alignment with Supply chain, Finance and Business Units  - Transition of new accounts into new channel models  - Preparation of business cases for feasibility of doing a direct account transaction  - Putting in processes and systems to ensure delivery of the products at the right time instead of a lag time  - Work with Supply Partners (SPs) to best service all accounts in a regions  - Monitor the performance of SP, optimize last mile logistics  - Provide account data for monthly dashboards  - Training the SP-s, Supply Chain personnel, Warehouse personnel of IMPL and the Purchase and personnel of the Hospital on processes and expectations  - Monitoring KPIs and generate MIS to stakeholders  Key Experience and Knowledge:  - A minimum of 8-10 years of experience.  - Must have an experience servicing an account end to end/experience of Service Sales.  - Project management experience where Customer timelines have been maintained or new benchmarks through process improvement   - Use of analytics in the normal course of work. He/ She should have the ability to identify the customer need.   - The need could be at the level of Personal, Scientific, Patient Referral or particular requirement according to Hospital.   - He has to become a SPOC to customer for scientific data and planning of scientific conferences.  - He should demonstrate all these within the BCS limit.  Driven to WIN - Consistently achieves high outcomes under varied circumstances.  - Doesn- t allow degree of difficulty to stand in the way - finishes what he/she started.  - Demonstrates high capacity for work.  - Taking on significant challenging responsibilities.  - Pursues work with passion and drive.  Executes - Candidate should have the ability to manage a project from end to end.   - The project could be but not limited to developing a referral network by doing territory profiling on the basis of patient pipeline to ICV.   - He should liaison with hospitals and product teams to manage logistics of a Clinical trial.   - Candidate should have demonstrated behavior to develop the rapport with critical stakeholders like Nurses, Technicians, Colleagues and Hospital administrators  - Candidate should have strong negotiation skills to sell and deliver values to hospitals. The candidate should have the exposure to Tender specifications on Price/Technical bids  Clear Thinking - Problem solver : Resolves issues of patient / distributor /KOL in territory.  - Data Analysis : Territory, Doctors, Leads, Patients.  - Judgment about activity /investments in Territory.  - Making sound decision in absence of full data.  - Design Short & Long term territory & KOL plan. Helping and Guiding \ distributors reps.  - Communicates complex matters to Internal (Medtronic people) and other external stakeholders with appropriate clarity and simplicity.  Qualifications:  - BE/B.Tech. from a reputed institute.  - PG degree in Business Management is preferred
