In 1996, MSF received the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development, and in 1999 MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.  - MSF India Branch Office is one of 24 offices and operational centres in Europe, America and Australasia, pooling funding, expertise and staff for MSF field operations.  - MSF India Branch Office has three key objectives in support of field operations: recruitment of skilled medical and non-medical staff, the raising of vital funds, and public information awareness.  Location of Job: MSF India Branch Office, New Delhi  Last application date : 1st May, 2017  Interim position : 6 months (Starting from first week of May, 2017)- Short term employment  Salary Gross (INR) : between INR 115623 & INR 130135 per month depending upon relevant professional experience  Position Title : Communications Manager   Location : Delhi   Department : Communications  Administrative Reporting to : Head of Communications  JOB PURPOSE :   - Creates, plans, implements, and coordinates brand awareness campaigns designed to raise awareness about MSF's principles, work and presence in India and in the rest of the world.  - Creates and/or coordinates the development of content and communication materials (online and offline).   - Supervises the creation, development and implementation of public events including yearly action plans developed by the Event Officer.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :  Campaign strategy and planning :  - Develops Brand campaign strategies and activity plans including creative strategy of campaign, targets, within budget and timeline.  - Ensures the implementation, tracking, measurement and analysis of online and offline awareness campaigns, on time, within budget and against the targets.  - Brief external agencies, manages relationship and monitors deliverables against campaign brief and targets.  - Deliver campaign activity presentations and regular internal presentations on outcomes against main objectives and targets.  Production of communication materials :  - Conceptualizes, creates and/or commissions the development of communication materials including photo stories, videos, brochures, calendars, in line with the MSF India style guide and graphic guideline and supervise the production.  - Coordinates and supervises the work of photographers, videographers, designers, etc.  - Reviews the quality of final print or online content before release with the Head of Communications.  Event strategy, planning and monitoring :   - Coaches, supervises and monitors the creation of content developed by the Event Officer in accordance within the frame of goals, objectives, budget and timing.   - Deliversand/or coordinates the delivery of events activity presentations and regular presentations on outcomes internally  - Supervises the evaluation and reports on progress toward stated goals and objectives, and effectiveness of communications outreach efforts developed by the Event Officer.  Management and departmental administration :   - Attends regularly scheduled departmental meetings to share information, brainstorm solutions, and coordinate priorities.  - Participates in planning and implementation of MSF-India's communications strategies, policies and procedures.  - Carries out any duties that may reasonably be required by the Communication Coordinator and/or Head of communications in the light of the main purpose of the job.  - Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings, in-office presentations/debates to stay informed on important MSF topics.  - Supervises and sets clear attainable objectives for the Communication assistant, the Event Officer and intern/volunteers. Provides ongoing feedback in a context of mutual respect.
