The Center houses more than 100 McKinsey professionals organized into distinct service lines: MDL, MSO and a few more. These groups work with consulting teams and practices across our firm, to provide Digital and database solutions to them.  Overview of position :  - The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at the center. This will involve life cycle management for on-roll members and off-roll members in the Center, creating internal customer delight by improving the process continuously and generating insights by developing detailed MIS and reports around HR performance.   Mentioned below are a few immediate expectations from the role however the role would evolve over a period of time and this would largely depend on the responsibilities the incumbent can take up.  Major responsibilities :  Employee Life Cycle Management Processes :  - End-to-end process conceptualization and execution of various processes, such as rehire, leave, movement & transfer, promotion, exit, database accuracy, benefits management, etc.  - Coordination with recruiters for seamless on-boarding of new members in the Firm  - Maintenance of Personnel Files   - Managing and maintaining records for all employee benefits availed by members, such as medi-claim, hospitalization, etc.  - Closely managing firm members- medical claims, processes around the same and resolving queries in the stipulated TAT  - Timely processing of payroll data for on-roll and off-roll members. Coordination with accounts team for timely disbursement of salary  - Proactively identifying gaps, scope for improvement in processes, and filling these gaps and optimizing processes and efficiencies   - Liaison with IT, Accounts, MIS and other relevant stake holders to ensure timely exchange of information and data  - Statutory, legal aspects to be administered  - Payslip sharing  - Updating and documenting updates in different policies  HRIS management :  - Manage the HRIS processes end to end   - Timely creation and update of data around new member on-boarding, rehire, leave, transfers, promotion, exit on the system   Drive employee experience :  - Responsible for issuance of accurate employee letters basis request raised by members within stipulated TAT  - Timely issuance of accurate appointment letters, offer letters, relieving letters, etc.  - Timely closure of any queries with regard to leaves, medi-claim (UHC, Cigna, etc.), advances, etc.  - Timely execution of full and final settlements for members who have exited the Firm  Knowledge & qualifications required :  - Integrity is crucial to the role; maturity and fairness in dealing with firm members and upholding confidentiality of information  - A wide range of skills to be able to deliver on the above-mentioned expectations and take the processes to the next level   - An analytical mind, with the ability to handle large volume of number crunching and analysis   - Strong understanding of PF, gratuity and other retirement benefits for members  - Should have exposure of working on large HRIS systems   - S/he should be able think strategically, communicate effectively  - Should be hands on and have experience in independently driving HR operations requirements for a large team/business/organization   - Should be result oriented- in order to meet the requisite defined SLAs in HR Operations   - Experience of dealing with senior management   - Ability to multi-task, and possess the track record of strong process orientation and evolution of the same  - A non-hierarchical approach; the flexibility and ability to build consensus  - Ability to work under pressure and conflicting circumstances  - Ability to adhere to the highest process standards and stand firm on decisions  - Should be open to an individual contributor role  Education : A degree in Human Resources from a respected institution, with a strong academic record   Previous experience :  - A minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional work experience in the field of HR operations, especially Service organizations, is required for the role. Candidates with experience of setting up processes from the scratch and helping these processes evolve will be preferred.
