JOB SUMMARY  Improve efficiency and productivity by ensuring razor like focus on governance and execution for critical projects being monitored by CIO’s Office  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARDS FOLLOWING :   1) Chief Operating officer - To ensure Program Management of key initiatives with sharp focus on the IT Transformation project .  Setting up and running of overall governance in IT particularly the TSC and rhythm reviews of the transformation project :  i. Maintain the stipulated rhythm monthly/quarterly for the meetings   ii. Maintain the stipulated rhythm for Technology Steering Council with all the key stakeholders   iii. Publishing the MOM and ensuring the cross functional dependencies are highlighted   iv. Maintain control over the issues getting reported and meeting timelines   - Designing, monitoring and publishing monthly scorecards to respective EMC/SLT Leaders   - Designing and helping COO to prepare appropriate communication decks for various stakeholders including updates to the Board.  - Sign off for Total Cost Ownership for all projects and report progress basis benefits shown   - One best practice each quarter to be shared with EMC basis feedback from Gartner Research and other experts.   2) Chief Information Officer for the Program management for large scale technological transformations seeks views and opinions on what constitutes expectation in each situation and for escalations if any.   3) Chief Financial officer for the benefits of spreads and realized investments. Ensure TCO for all projects   4) Chief Distribution officer - for the Change management and support related communications.   5) Chief Technology officer – To track the various IT projects and proactively informs the management of any potential slippages, hurdles and concerns. With key focus on:   i. Project Planning and definition   ii. Tracking project schedules   iii. Tracking interdependencies across projects   - Assist and train team members to follow project management processes and build buy-in to the defined process   - Periodically Review and improve upon the Project Management methodology/SDLC   - Review/inspect projects for adherence to Project Management Process   - Reinforce Project Management process adherence   - Facilitate Program Office meetings   - Review & Sign off Technology Control and adherence to processes, prior to any Go Live planning   - Managing the Knowledge Management  Desired Qualification & experience  - Management Graduates with around 10- 12 years of work experience.   - Preferred Engineers/MCA/MBA (IT)   - Program management experience and/or insurance industry will be of added advantage
