JOB SUMMARY:  Market Intelligence and Business reviews is a critical function at Max Life with a focus on competitive intelligence and business strategy. The role is responsible for tracking the key industry trends, analyzing competitor activities and adding value to the management decision process by way of providing meaningful insights as part of the business strategy process. The objective is to blend the external view (competition and economic environment) with the internal performance assessment and enable informed decisions.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Track the economy, industry, competition and relevant trends and provide analysis to the business to facilitate key strategic decisions  - Conduct primary and secondary research (market study and analytics through research papers, interviews, mystery shopping etc) to provide early visibility to senior management about industry trends, competitors and industry environment changes  - Scan relevant secondary data, press coverage and public information to filter out relevant market information and trend  - Use networks within and outside of the industry as well as organization to learn best practices Prepare comprehensive market intelligence reports periodically and summary of important industry reports for the senior management team  - Support the team in business reviews process - work on important documents and presentations like management dashboard, review meetings etc.  - Prepare and support communications for Board meetings  - Equip the CEO to make meaningful presentations at industry forums and the regulator's office.  MEASURES OF SUCCESS:  - Timely publishing of all deliverables, as per the required standards adhering to stipulated guidelines and quality framework of the team  - Successful archival of knowledge and dissemination of it across business functions  - Develop and nurture extensive network within and outside the organization  - Positive feedback and appreciation from business owners and decision makers.  JOB REQUIREMENTS  MINIMUM EDUCATION:   - Management Graduate preferred with 1-2 years of experience  MINIMUM/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:   - Life insurance experience preferred, but not mandatory  - Prior experience in a similar role/ function industry will be of added advantage  KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:   - Attention to detail  - Should be competent at analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data. Strong numerate and data interpretation skills (analytical in nature)  - Strong MS Powerpoint and MS Excel knowledge
