DSL Head will build a world class team of data scientists, who will drive customer engagements and business value by using data and analytics to drive customer actions and facilitate decision making. S/he will act as a thought leader for the use of data and analytics to drive critical business decisions, business strategy and able to serve as coach / mentor for data scientists on the team.  Responsibilities  - Lead all data related activities to support development of new data science approaches and methodologies to improve operations and business outcomes.   - Project management of multiple projects involving different stake holders.   - Support the different business functions in meeting their core metrics by finding impactful business insights.  - Mentor and coach a team of budding data scientists.   - Continuously evolve the existing match making algorithm ( MIMA) to ensure the network effect of the customer base is optimised.   Core Competencies  - Expertise in regression models, decision trees, Monte Carlo methods, Machine learning, Text analytics, Optimization.  - Proven competencies in learning new products and services, new markets, new verticals   - Analytics Experience in the areas of Marketing, Fraud risk and Operational risk.  - Experience in at least one of python, R or any other programming language for data scientists.   - Experience with big data technologies and analytics is a plus  Skills  - Strong strategic, creative and analytical skills in order to develop pilot and scaling plans, strategies and tactics for a business model.  - Proficient in Forecasting/Predictive Analytics, Segmentation Methodologies, Regression Based Models, Hypothesis Testing, Factor Analysis/PCA etc.  Important Notice  MBA -Business Management from a Tier I management institution will be preferred.
