Business Area - Transport
Reports to - Senior VP, Business Development, Transport
Education - Bachelors degree or equivalent with Business / Management subjects
Experience - At least 5 years of work experience in Marketing function in Infrastructure / Power / Engineering / Transport Sector.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Our client Transport Business Development team in pursuing brand / market support objectives within the Indian Transport sectors.
Duties & Responsibilities (What you need to do)
1.Develop and implement marketing / brand development objectives to in the market place at a business or contract level
2.Support the BD Team w.r.t various market related initiatives in areas such as but not limited to :
a) Brand Building: Collaterals, presentation materials, concept notes, events / conferences & trade shows. Need identifications, recommendations & delivery on these.
b) Customer Education: Evolve need areas in close coordination with the BD team and wider Our client resourcing of contents.
c) MIS & Report production: Collation of data and formulating draft Reports for internal approval, release & action.
d) Brand Objective & Budget: Evolve, monitor and deliver the Brand objectives & own the budget / delivery.
3.Develop and maintain competitor analysis data for current and new markets to enable our bids to leverage strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
4.Support initiatives under a robust account and client engagement principles
5.Coordinate external communication and PR for all Marketing events
6.Assist in developing the market strategy taking input from internal and external resources to identify opportunities for the business, and propose the necessary actions to deliver the Our client value proposition
Knowledge (How you need to do the job)
- Requires excellent technical appreciation of services and capability; knowledge of market and external factors Skills
- At this level works within well defined parameters under limited technical supervision. Technically self sufficient in standard marketing activity however is gaining marketing knowledge and experience for more complex activity.
- Establishes good working relations with clients, colleagues and internal / external stakeholders , providing marketing guidance & support.
