Market Research Analyst

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who can join our Primary Market Research Team. The candidate is expected to possess the following -

- Understands the research process from problem definition to writing the report.

- Understands sampling techniques.

- Has a basic understanding of analysis tools like SPSS/MINITAB

- Understands analysis techniques like descriptives, factor analysis, cluster analysis etc.

- Understands the objectives of research very clearly.

- Once initiated demonstrates clarity in understanding and interpreting client needs.

- Understands how to map explicit customer expectations for specific area of research.

- Is able to track progress on specific area of research based on agreed project plan and timelines.

- Asks questions to understand customer/ team expectations better.

- Manages all aspects of the primary research.

- Understands the output of various statistical packages.

- Demonstrates an understanding of customer’s business requirements in the sphere that they operate in and how Cognizant can deliver on them.

- Keeps the customer updated on the research progress proactively

- Follows the process to seek and act on customer feedback.

- Demonstrates ability to push back (based on the analysis) in the face of unreasonable expectations

- Plans for adequate resources to meet client demand
