Managing Director - Steel Division

Please find below the JD to the Managing Director role for Steel division:

1. The candidate must be able to maximize sales with the informal trade channel at the given market prices without breaching the credit limits & keeping stock levels low to avoid piling financial costs.

2. Ensuring 0 stock outs & 0 bad debts. The candidate should be able to plan the supply chain, control costs & manage the trade unions

3. Core experience in sales & distribution in the African context is required.

4. Capable of handling P&L responsibility and managing financial, operational, HR & administration aspects of the business.

5. The candidate must have excellent written & spoken English and should be proficient in use of excel & power-point so top management time is not wasted on micro issues.
