Hiring for Manager - Trade Research position with a leading FMCG conglomerate. Candidates from Premier B-Schools - 2013-2015 batch, having 1-3 years relevant experience in market research,trade marketing, trade research, analytics need apply.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Responsible for driving the insights agenda for the entire brand portfolio and managing an insights budget.
- Lead customized qualitative & quantitative research to deepen understanding of consumer unmet needs, attitudes & behavior.
- Coordinating all Trade Research for various FMCG categories
- Study research reports and advanced analytics to identify growth opportunities
- Analyze Retail Audit data to draw inferences of push (distribution) and pull parameters in General Trade and Modern Trade channels for operating categories
- To provide strategies to increase market share of products
- To assist in formation of focused and sharpened distribution strategy
- Deconstructing the industry/segment in terms of dominant manufacturers, brands, price points, flavors to understand new trends and patterns of competition products across geographies
- Providing quality insights to the Category Development Team & the Sales Team across all channels & operating categories.
- Aid senior management in the marketing - strategy building process by providing key insights related to :
1) Category/Segment construct of FMCG Categories
2) Geography by Channel
Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in FMCG / Market Research.
