- Candidates having strong experience in Tax - must   - Working experience in IT - ITES industry (preferred)   - Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)  Work Responsibilities :   Taxation, Accounts Receivable :   Taxation - Direct and Indirect taxes (Subject Matter Expert)  GST is expected to be applicable effective July 2017. The candidate will be responsible for successful implementation of GST for the Company. This will include:  - Responsible for end-to-end implementation of GST including project managing changes to Oracle system etc.  - Understanding the GST law and rules and its implications on the Company  - Impact on financials, financial system, contracts etc.  - Hand-holding other departments such as Procurement, Administration, etc. in implementing GST.   - Training finance and other department members on GST  - Change management from Service Tax to GST  - Responsible for statutory compliances of GST, returns, refund claims, reconciliations etc.  - Handling/Assisting GST Audit and assessment  Service tax, Excise, STPI, Sales tax  End-to-end responsibility for managing Service tax, excise, STPI and sales tax (including works contract tax).   To name a few:  - In-depth knowledge of service tax provisions, Reverse charge mechanism, CCR rules etc.  - Collation of data and Preparation of annexures for filing & audit of Service Tax Returns / Refund Claims  - Timely preparation of CCRs  - Service tax liability disposition  - Assistance in preparation of replies to various notices issued by the tax authorities and collation of documents as required  - Coordination with consultants / tax authorities during assessments  - Pursue rigorous follow-ups for service tax refunds and issuance of BRC's by bank  - Ensuring the books of accounts are updated and reconciled as per statutory returns   - Responsible for obtaining various STPI approvals  - STPI returns (APR, MPR, Softex filing), Sales tax returns  Income tax, Transfer pricing  - Responsible for quarterly filing of TDS returns, TDS disposition/ liability  - Assistance in preparation of replies to various notices issued by the tax authorities and collation of documents as required  - Coordination with consultants / tax authorities during assessments  - Computation of monthly / quarterly/ annual Income tax provisions  - Preparation of corporate income tax returns, calculation and disposition of advance tax liability   - Ensuring the books of accounts are updated and reconciled as per statutory returns   - Assistance in Transfer Pricing audits and assessments  - Assistance in tax audits, statutory audits  Accounts Receivable :   - Billing for all Business units  - Invoice, Debit note / credit note processing   - Inter-company reconciliations  - Master Services Agreement, Statement of Services for services provided  Monthly closing :   - Assistance in monthly financial closing and sign-off  - Monthly Account reconciliation and monthly proofing of tax and accounts receivable balance sheet items.  Adhoc tasks/ deliverables  - Should be able to manage Adhoc requests in timely manner.  Experience :   - In-depth knowledge of above mentioned responsibilities   - Chartered Accountant with minimum 8 years of experience   - Practical experience in Income Tax, TDS and Service Tax Refunds and assessments  Skills :   - Team player, excellent collaboration skills  - Ability to work in high pressure situations  - Hands-on experience in tax assessments  - Good communication skills  - Knowledge in MS Excel is must, working experience in Oracle Financials or any other ERP desirable
