Opportunity with a Background Verification Organization for Mumbai Location  Designation: Manager / Senior Manager - Revenue Invoicing and Analysis  Role & Responsibilities:  - Ensuring strong internal controls over sale quantities in IT and Operations databases  - Working closely with sales and pricing strategy teams to ensure availability of correct versions of standard price lists and all volume discount contracts, that form basis for invoices  - Raising invoices and Debit Note/Credit Notes for all products and services- sales, duly reconciled to sales quantities in IT and Operations databases  - Getting approvals for invoiced quantity differences vs these databases, with proper explanations, and then storing these properly for audit trail  - Making monthly sales summary (including all Debit Note/Credit Notes and volume discount provisions)  - Making fortnightly Debit Note for interest chargeable on delays in making payments by customers  - Making quarterly volume discounts summary, providing analysis about trends in these discounts  - Working with sales and pricing strategy teams towards simplification of price lists, contracts and invoicing procedures  - Coordinating with sales team while they are making sales forecasts and budgets; understanding various sales drivers and analyzing various product & customer segments to be able to submit monthly commentaries and explanations  - Making and submitting sales related templates (eg; relating to segment wise sources of revenue, new product initiatives, etc) to Finance, providing insights about companies sales performance and forward expectations - including risks & opportunities  - Providing explanations for all sales variances, in close coordination with sales team & CFO  - Analyzing sales and highlighting trends to CFO; particularly about impact of changes in sales forecasts on future profitability  - Providing data for sales incentives and performance bonus, duly tied-up to MIS  - Responsible for existence of proper internal controls (including compliance to COFIC) and ensuring timely statutory & internal audits in own area  - Ensuring compliance to all legal and ISO requirements in own area  - Other responsibilities that may be given by the CFO, from time to time  Experience Required   Min. 4 yrs relevant experience in Higher Level Accounting,  Commercial Finance, and/or Financial Analysis with a medium or large sized Company in Financial Services or IT Industry.  Experience in collections and analysis areas will be an added advantage.  Skills / Competencies Required:  - Very high degree of passion to make a difference to the role  - Brilliance in mental mathematics and analysis  - Commercial bent of mind, with an eye to prevent any revenue loss to the Company  - Effective articulating and influencing skills, in order to have strong work relationships with sales team  - Strong collaborative nature  - Knowledge of writing professional business mails  - Working knowledge of MS Office, ie; Word, Excel (incl.
