Manager/Sr Manager - Operations - Food & Grocery Retail

Urgent vacancy for the position of Manager / Sr.Manager Operations : Bangalore for Food & Grocery Retail Company.

Candidate Specification :

- Post Graduate in Business Administration/Retail is preferable but not necessary.

- 7-10 years of progressive experience in retail operations and should include 2 years in a multi-store management role.

- Food and Grocery experience is a must.

- Should have prior experience in setting up new stores from Scratch.

- Passion for excellence is absolutely critical.

Key Responsibilities :

- Represent and reinforce the strategy and brand through maintaining the highest standards in visual merchandising and customer service.

- Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of store services through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between functions and HO.

- Make efforts for better ordering, merchandising and suggestive selling of products to improve sales.

- Develop an environment with systems and processes in place which will enable and encourage business opportunities.

- To effectively induct, lead, manage, train and develop the team to agreed procedures and standards.

- Improve in store processes to reduce pilferage, discrepancies and loss of margins.

- Direct the annual budgeting and planning process for the region.

- Ensure statutory compliance with various legislations, conducting risks assessments, monitoring performance and reviewing procedures.
