- The scope of this role covers sourcing categories, suppliers, and delivering sourcing activities against all categories.  - Sourcing categories refers to the spend areas of all Categories i.e General, HW, SW, Telecom, IT Service and Facilities for Data Centres, Development Centres, ITS Departments and different business functions in India.   - The definition is not limited to the above list, it is to give an overview of the spend categories however any third party spend is to be considered. The role is also required to provide the leadership and support for any all Sourcing requirements in India. It includes owning and managing all internal and external relationships (suppliers, internal customers etc) that are required in order to deliver against the global/regional/local sourcing strategies for India .  - Relationships with internal stakeholders of all levels, as well as external supplier relationships on working with client to build a mutually beneficial supply relationship.   - Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of the local supply market conditions for the sourcing categories as well as a good working knowledge of the supplier or category offerings.  - Business impact is achieved through appropriate application of local, regional and global sourcing strategy and processes, with spend as agreed through: appropriate internal relationships at business and regional level -interfaces with all service providers both internal and external delivery of agreed savings targets within the context of the global sourcing model.   - Bad decisions could have a negative impact on client cost-base and expose the company to legal risk.  - Holds accountable for decisions and actions taken. Need to work locally or regionally, remotely on strict timeline basis.   - Travel may be required.   Required Skills:  - Graduate or Master's degree with 8-10 years of overall experience and 6-8 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement experience, working with multi-national companies.  - Sourcing Category strategies, category profiling, supply market awareness, Supplier evaluation, negotiation and Selection.  - Contract management - draft, scrutinize, execute Supplier development and supplier performance Spend and performance analysis.
