Implementation of Factories Act related to safety & health  Renew of existing licenses, Factory drawing approvals and compliance to Inspector of factories directions  Implementation & Sustenance of OHSAS 18001  Provide safe work environment  Meeting legal requirements  Capital improvement projects to sustain safety Training & periodic meetings for employees and contract workmen.  To meet LTI =0 & TRIR - less than 1  To avoid legal non compliance  To ensure safety of the employees & Industry  Implementation Safety standards i.e scaffolding,working at height etc.,  Review of Incidents related to safety  Training to all employees (including contract workmen) on safety & Environment.  Ensuring safety and meeting the target of LTI=0 & TRIR less than 1  Submitting compliance to factory inspector  Renewal of Management system certifications, periodic audits and closure of audit observations  Closure of Nearmisses and SENSES audit points closure  Implementation of safety culture and awareness.  Contract workmen & Employees regular trainings & Induction training  Coordinating with Govt officials during their visit"  Sustenance of management system (OHSAS 18001) and process safety.  Desired Candidate Profile:  Qualified Graduate / Diploma holders in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.  Prior experience of 5 to 10 years working in Pharma, Chemical or Fertlizer industry   Candidates holding certification from Regional Institute of Management or CLI will be preferred.  Candidates should be heading the Safety department currently .  Candidates living or willing to relocate to Vizag may only apply.  Candidates should be fluent in Telugu language - written and oral.
