Manager/Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA - Teleocm

Job Purpose:

To Monitor and Manage compliance to Audit, Indirect Tax & Fiscal Financial closure; accounting and settlement of vendor and other payouts as per internal processes, DOA and TAT and risks to the assets of the company are insured to ensure timely claim settlement.

Key Result Areas/ Accountabilities

To Monitor & track faster processing of claims and timely submission of tax information as per accounting policies and procedures within TAT to achieve Functional Area Performances as desired

- Ensure that the insurance Claim is filed promptly, follow-up for claim and provisioning of all information by insurance company is done on time, co-ordination with departments and liaisoning with surveyors/ insurance company officials for faster Processing of claims.

- Monitoring Tax Compliance by adherence to directives/guidelines on TDS, Service Tax, VAT and filing of Statutory Returns by due dates and support corporate tax team with accurate and timely submission of tax information.

- Monitoring up-to-date reconciliation of debtors balance with service tax liability, steps taken to ensure total compliance and minimize tax litigations. Prompt response on supplying information for Statutory purposes from statutory authorities / corporate

- Monitoring Vendor Bill Processing. Booking vouchers as per accounting policies and procedures within TAT and as per DOA. Monitoring excess/ wrong billing and recovery from Vendors

To monitor prevention of revenue leakages to achieve Business & Functional Performance targets

- Compare Opex variance over Budget by identification and prevention of revenue leakages, optimization of costs.

To Monitor Financial reporting, compliance and controls to ensure 100% compliances

- Track to ensure 100% compliance to Internal Control Checklist and availability with required schedules and information.

- Drive adherence to SOP on Accounts Reconciliation, achievement of 100% monthly reconciliations & schedules leading to documented reduction of open items in various reconciliations over each quarter, and zero wrong accounting in control accounts

- Effective monitoring and managing audit (statutory and others), thereby enabling adequate information within timelines to auditors as per timelines and formats.

- Monitoring Fixed Assets capitalization with 15 days lag and provisional capitalization aging not beyond 1 month.

Relevant experience is mandatory (Payables, Taxation, Audit and Finance Reporting) (Industry- Telecom only).
