1. PRE-REQUISITE:

- Monitor security events for large enterprise clients (Minimum 10 years)

- The ideal candidate should have 5 or more years of formal management experience in a multi-vendor managed security center. Experience managing staff that supports large-scale security and networking technologies is required.

- Security Management experience in environments with Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Blue Coat, Citrix, F5 equipment

- Experience with SIEM and log management products

- Expertise with tools and processes used in security incident detection and handling

- Experience with Security event analysis and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS Incident response - triage, incident analysis, remediation)

- Ability to document processes, procedures and network security designs clearly and accurately -- not only within the group to share the knowledge and understanding of our own systems, but also for distribution to both internal and external customers. Ability to make decisions and to thrive in an entrepreneurial, rapidly-changing environment, while maintaining professional composure. Leadership skills

- Strong experience in network and systems security, not only a key understanding of overall concepts, but also the ability to make decisions about implementation policies, processes and develop solutions to network and security problems.

- Security Outsourcing Sales and Deal Structuring

- Must have an in-depth understanding of network security issues, security event logging / monitoring,
Firewalls, Intrusion prevention, proxy services, Anti Virus technologies, authentication mechanisms, ethical hacking tools, vulnerability assessment & scanning tools, application security assessments, incident response and knowledge of common information security management frameworks.

- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM are preferred.

- Extensive expertise on IT security laws and regulations including but not limited to HIPAA, Medicare, Sarbanes-Oxley, DMHC, CMS, DOI, PCI and various privacy laws

2. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Manager of Managed Security Operations Center is a technical leader with extensive multi-vendor Network Security Management experience who will oversee the planning, management, and execution of internal and external customer implementations and 24x7 management of firewalls, IPS/IDS, proxy services within Branch offices and Datacenter environments located across the globe. 

- This individual will have excellent communication skills, strong problem solving abilities, and direct experience managing a Global Network Security organization. Leadership skills a must!

- Manage and lead 24x7 Security Operations Center activities working to continually improve the level of automation and technical skills

- Manage Security Operation Engineering Staff responsible for compliance, managed security services, SIEM, Log Management, , endpoint security, network monitoring, network security and security monitoring & networking security

- Oversee security vendor relationships and assess vendor solutions Represent the Security Operations group

- Assist clients with the identification and evaluation of holistic security gaps with a focus on the security operation

3. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
ISC2, CISM CISSP, Cisco CCIE, CCNP or CCSP are strongly preferred
