- SAP plays in important role in achieving growth targets for AMEA. Running business as well as new business development require a strong foundation of system, controls, process, reporting and compliances. Only a reliable and effective ERP functionality can help in achieving it.
- The ERP system need to be flexible to take care of new business models, easy workflows for better productivity, excellent reporting capabilities to support fast decision making.
- This kind of system requires seamless integration of FICO, PTP and OTC functions. The tax structure in India makes it more complex.
- In current functionality lot of controls are manual and workflows are also missing. Reporting capabilities are also limited. Integration of commercial Areas - FICO, PTP and OTC is very important and this person plays an important role in this integration.
- Role requires working with BIM Department for designing and implementation, training of end users, continuous monitoring and issue resolving .
Job Content :
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility :
- Ensure that DSP standard commercial processes are built into SAP
- To lead Fit Gap Analysis, Blueprint, Training, Testing and Data Migration work for the implementation of the new projects.
- Coordinate with BG BIM department to implement new features/ resolve issues / compliance on ongoing basis.
- Organize & conduct trainings for internal SAP users during project and thereafter on periodic basis.
Ensure smooth transition of Oasis Project to Routine Process :
- Monitoring of evaluation criteria laid down for the Sustainable Solutions
- Ensure that resolution of the issues is timely and solutions provided are of good quality in coordination with BIM.
- Responsible for troubleshooting the issues in the system post implementation and providing support which require cross functional alignment between Key users.
- Suggest/Implement best suited process for DSP operations.
- Monitor adherence to the laid down process disciplines.
- Coordinates with BIM department for resolution of issues encountered in routine operations.
- Ensures that workflows are built in to improve efficiencies, automated controls are in place and reporting requirements are met.
- Coordinates with BIM/Internal Control department in building and then monitoring tool for compliance to DSP processes and local tax/other regulations.
- Play a key role in integrating new partners, tollers, new models in the system into SAP so that the entire process is embedded and no manual workarounds.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of Change Requests (CRs) and writing functional specifications for them before given to BIM
- Checking the quality of test data for testing CRs (Change Requests)
- Supervise Testing of CRs (Change Requests) and preparing test results
- In his role he/she need to supervise key users.
- Support Key users in training of end users.
- Continuously identify areas of improvement, changes, new reports and Coordinating with BIM department for improvements.
- Implement necessary changes whenever required as a result of change in law, business requirements, new businesses etc.
- Work with BW manager to improve the quality of reporting and identity new reports required for better analysis.
- Assignment of standard roles to positions according to SOD matrix
- Monitoring authorizations in and across various applications including ERP (e.g. SAP)
Key Deliverables / Key Result Areas :
- Improve existing process/system, implement new process.
- Monitoring of adherence to process discipline.
- Identify opportunities for improvement w.r.t. to New SAP Features, MIS and coordinates with BIM for implementation
- Key Users are trained adequately.
- Implement new Business Models into SAP
- Roles Mapping, SOD Checks and SAP Authorizations
Knowledge and educational level :
Educational level : Preferably CA
Knowledge Level :
- Well versed with Computers applications and analytical tools.
- Candidate should be well versed with the functional knowledge on the SAP-PtP/FICO/OTC discipline.
- Knowledge of Procurement, Sales Process, Supply Chain, accounting processes, indirect taxes and Finance functions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills a must, along with the ability to produce detailed, concise documentation. Expert knowledge on functional area say finance, Accounts, Billing and procurement
- Sound knowledge on systems and procedures
- Working knowledge in indirect taxes
- Should be a team player
- Sound SAP FICO / OTC knowledge
