Our client is a technology company focused on building world class solutions in the communications space. Our client began by building telecom VAS infrastructure products, and has over the period provided solutions for many mobile service providers across the world, enabling their messaging services, location services, data services and other mobile applications.

Our client has been known since the early days for its innovative products, as well as product quality and customer support, and also received many awards for their next-generation carrier grade VAS infrastructure solutions.

Our client is venture funded, and competes well with the best known global names in the VAS space. Now, our client is looking to expand their business in related and white spaces, while simultaneously retaining pole position and core strengths in communication technologies.

Job Role :

The Sales Manager has to target large enterprises to sell the company's telecom products.

He/She should understand basic telecom/IT technology and should meet customers regularly and understand their requirement and match company's product accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities & Important Functions of Job :

- Sell telecommunications products and services across telecom operators.

- Increase market share in existing markets and maximize new business opportunities.

- Must have experience in sales with in countries of Asia Pacific, SAARC or Africa/UAE.

- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share,and other key financial performance objectives.

- Leads sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change.

- Keep abreast of current technology trends.

Desired candidate :

- Bachelors in Science/Engineering; Masters in Management/PG Diploma in Management from a good business school preferred.

- Total sales experience of 10-15 years with at least 5 years of relevant experience in sales of telecom VAS products.

- Proven track record in sales and increasing market share.

- Must be willing to work from home office.

- Must be willing to travel.
