OR a relevant related qualification  (b) Post Graduate Engineering Degree Holders may also apply  (c) An MBA qualification though not mandatory would be an added advantage  Mandatory Skills Required:   Extensive pre-sales experience and exposure to sales life-cycle (prospecting, lead qualification, requirement understanding, proposal presentation and Sales closure) in Telecom OEM, Media, Carrier and ISV space.  Good communication and interpersonal skills  Willingness to travel extensively on business  Affable personality with a proven record in inter-working with other functions (esp. Between Engineering & Sales).  Clear understanding of concepts in communications engineering, modern telecom networking and applications and the ability to do solution selling to customers  Ability to meet and communicate with product managers or VP engineering titles in customers  Desired Skills Required (Preferred but not mandatory):   Exposure to market analysis & research  Exposure to working with Indian companies  Key Work Responsibilities for the Position Holder:   1. Planning and executing sales plan for the region in US Geography  2. Selling to accounts in the Telecom OEM, Media, Carrier and ISV space,  3. Territory development in European region  4. Ensuring sales growth through [i] addition of new accounts and [ii] Revenue enhancement in existing accounts  5. Create Sales pitch for new identified market segments and identify trends  6. Devise the Go-To-Market strategy for new offerings  7. Travel to international locations for business meetings, conferences and exhibitions.  Additional Information:  a) Should have strong - hunter- skills to get new accounts  b) Exposure to sales of software intensive services related to any of the following would be a big plus: Wireless Cellular, Media, Satellite, Datacom (IP, MPLS, Automotive), Converged Mobile Applications and Embedded Engineering (FPGA/ DSP/ ASIC), Smart phones and handheld devices such as Tablets.
