MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: (listed in order of priority) :
- To formulate and execute sales plans- annual, monthly and weekly. Indent monitoring organizing territories.
- To set targets based on historical data, market information, organizational capacity, budgetary support, and infrastructure deployment, technical up gradation, logistic capability and production capability.
- To ensure sale of milk to various Institutions and ensuring long term business relationships.
- To increase reach through tapping untapped areas, to assess the market size and deciding on the targeted market share, strengths and weaknesses of competitors and our own.
- To define needs for infrastructure development and technical up gradation.
- To define innovative means of distribution eg. home delivery while maintaining desired temperature.
- To provide better product quality through maintaining cold chain.
- To define need for sales promotions, types of promotion required, to match volume & profitability, market feedback from the marketing department, market intelligence inputs to marketing.
- To monitor targets and review performance, coordinate with channel partners, enter into agreement with new retailers, distributors, map and allot territories, chalk out and monitor beat reports.
- To monitor overheads and outstanding payments periodically.
- To handle staff administration.
- To ensure redressal of consumer complaints, giving feedback to concerned before closing it.
- Coordination with logistics, commercial and marketing.
- To develop and sharpen the professional skills of staff / channel partners.
- Market feedback with respect to new product development.
