Role Purpose:  Lead Quality team and achieve organisation goals as per Business Plan by applying quality tools and by supporting & motivating the teams. Responsible for eliminating line rejections of OEM customers and eliminate overseas sorting cost.  Brief JD:  - Meet business plan requirements  - Ensure optimum allocation and utilization of inspection and testing activities of inspection personnel.  - Ensure targets of CCF, internal rejection, customer complaints zero PPM  - Participate in CFF in PPAP and APQP process,   - Promote & meet customer requirements,   - Ensure timely and correct availability of IMTE in all manufacturing process,   - Product quality standards through audits and reviews, IMTE and Lab management,   - Initiate corrective & preventive actions for NCs / Deviations of external and internal audits,   - Liaise with internal & external customers for clarification/ Use QM/TPM tools/ TQM/TS16949 for quality improvement   - Evaluate COQ & COPQ monthly  - Adherence to Standard operating procedures  - Completion of MSA as per the plan  Competencies:  - Manufacturing Knowledge: Assembling, Machining, Forging, Plating  - Manufacturing systems exposure: TPM / TQM / Lean Manufacturing /SPC / TS 16949  - Language Skills: Good English communication with working knowledge of Tamil   Person Specification:  - Age: 35 - 40 years  - Education: B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical  - Experience: 12 to 15 years  - Experience from Industry Type: Steel based auto component manufacturing industry   Should posses knowledge and understanding on GM and Ford concepts
