Collect information and conduct field study for development of classical and evolutionary optimization and simulation models for various functions and operation of the company.   - Develop Discrete Event/System Dynamics /Agent based simulation model in order to redesign, debottleneck and optimize processes and workforce planning.  - Develop, maintain and update computer programs related to optimization (classical and/or evolutionary algorithms) and simulations/ Manpower Forecasting Model  - Analyse and visualise data using .net, R, Python etc  - Suggest opportunities for improvement based on data analytics  - Proficiency in developing Human Ergonomics Models /Manpower Models   Key Deliverables:  - Understand the requirement from customer and decide the information to be collected  - Collect information/ data from the customer dept.  - Prepare a deterministic model of the project for preliminary analysis/ justification of the need of simulation  - Mapping of value chain on simulation platform if simulation is justified using Discrete Event/System Dynamics /Agent based simulation modeling tools  - Validate, Develop multiple scenarios/alternatives and Run the simulation model by feeding the real process data  - Discuss scenario results with the customer dept. and firm up the best scenario   - Analyse and visualise data using .net, R, Python etc  - Prepare the final recommendation & submit report to concerned VP for enablement of decision making  Candidate Requirement:  B Tech in Industrial / Production Engineering. Candidates with M Tech in Industrial / Production Engineering or MBA with specialisation in operations will be preferred.  Exposure to Statistical techniques, Operations Research, Simulation and Process improvement will be preferred.  Relevant Experience - experience in Industrial Engineering field having experience in the areas of manpower assessment, Incentive Bonus formulation, simulation, Reengineering, supply chain activities, Improvement activities, etc.
