Manager - Production - Printing Unit

- Shall be responsible for the commercial printing work like Text Books, Posters, Calendars, Diaries, Flexo labels & packaging and security printing products like cheque books, mobile airtime scratch card, pin mailers, label production etc.

- Expected to organize smooth flow of work, minimizing production bottlenecks and improving productivity.

- Oversee production quality control and plant maintenance, Raw material planning, wastage control.

- Meeting all production targets with optimum material planning, machine capacity utilization and manpower performance.

- Should lead a cross functional team and be a team player.

- Highly motivated and high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives.

- Establish and direct policies and procedures.

- Work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability.

- Plan and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment related to the plant ( Converting machines, Generators, Compressors, Forklifts).

Candidate profile :

- Degree / Diploma in Printing / Packaging with minimum 6 - 8 years' experience in a similar industry, having worked on high end European machinery.

- Must have production working experience on BIELOMATIC machines / similar machines.

- Ability to train team.

- Fluent in English and SAP working experience would be an added advantage.

- Reporting to Business Unit Head / Managing Director.
