Manager - Process Engineering - Automotive

Purpose of position:

- Overall responsible for smooth running of existing assembly process

- Concept Design knowledge of New tools/ Fixtures, Basic knowledge of GD&T, Hands on experience of design software viz. catia, autocad, solid edge, etc.

- Developing the process to suit the work standard

- Responsible for maintaining quality standards for new tools / fixture development

- Responsible for developing work standard / SOP for assembly process (Manual assembly)

- New fixture trail & report generation for trail with production, QA.

- Fixture modification as and when required

- Process validation, Corrective and preventive action for non conformity of assembly process

- Maintain up-to-date management information data.

- Maintaining all records, drawings, WI

- Training to new operators for new process & monitoring

- Maintain 5S in department.

- Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and system such as word processing, managing files and records

- Responsible for developing the process at vendor end.

- Responsible for new product line set up.

- Responsible for freezing specification of new machine, commissioning & installation of new machine.

- Responsible for preparation of PPAP document such as PFMEA, PFC, CP, SOP, Process Validation.

- Responsible for pokayoke: identification & implementation.

- Responsible for time study & cycle time reduction.

Key Skills:

- Qualification: BE-Electrical or Mechanical with 8 to 10 years experience

- Male candidates

- Experience: BE-Electrical or Mechanical with 8 to 10 years experience

- Should have experience in alternators, windshield water pumps, wiper motors, etc must

- Should possess skill in autocad & catia v5 software - Mandatory

Skill Sets & Competencies:

- Knowledge of New product process development, tools/fixture design development

- Knowledge of Design software e.g. AutoCAD, Catia, Solid Edge

- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering techniques, work standards

- Salary Range would be Rs. 8 - 10 LPA.
