Manager – Private Equity Strategy

Location - Gurgaon

Experience - 7-10 Yrs

Salary - 30-35 LPA

Experience Required -

Candidates with the following skill sets will be considered for this position:

- At least 7 years of relevant management consulting / strategy experience (M&A advisory / corporate finance / lead advisory and buy-side / PE experience will not be considered for this role)

- Experience in working on at least two private equity CDD / ODD or post-deal engagements

- Industry depth and understanding in one or more of the following sectors - healthcare, infrastructure, consumer products and automotive / manufacturing

- Demonstrated project and people management skills

- Experience in working with “C” level executive clients

- MBA from a Tier 1 B-School

- Prior experience in private equity practices of consulting firms (Big 4 / strategy consulting firms) will afford a distinct advantage

Skill Expectations:

- Excellent analytical and structured thinking skills – with a proven ability to rapidly develop hypotheses and issue trees

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills

- Ability to lead small to medium-size teams to deliver projects

- Ability to manage demanding clients and respond to frequent changes in delivery direction

- Ability to work under pressure, typical of high intensity private equity engagements lasting 3-6 weeks

- Comfort with leading and conducting extensive B2B primary research – including cold calling
