Manager - Plant Finance - FMCG

Details of Job Profile:

Preparation and Review Budgets & Period MIS, Draw useful conclusion by Comparison of Actual, Budget & Previous year.

- Monthly review of Plant KPI's, MIS & Overheads with Plant Management team & setting us of targets

- Calculation & analyse Material & Price usage variances and discussion with Plant Management Team

- Verification and Checking of BOM upload in system

- Ensuring financial requirements are met in time

- Costing of new products introduced, new Co-packer, Co-manufacturer for Viability

- Verification & authorization of all payments

- Define standards and expectations within team

- Coordinate Audits to detect any compliance or contractual breaches and encourage continuous improvements

- Maintain appropriate Governance structure to facilitate seamless operations

- Budgetary controls and monitoring for both capital expenditures.

Process/ Operations Responsibilities:

- Ensure procurement processes in adherence to laid down systems and procedures

- Checking & verification of costing for all SKU's & allocation of overheads

- Reconciliation of goods dispatched out of factory to consignee agents

Compliance reporting:

- Ensuring Compliance with statutory, legal and tax requirements for all departments

- Sales tax, Additional goods tax & Service tax payments & returns filing

Accruals:

- Close monthly accounts & Reporting

- General Ledger scrutiny for Operating Expenses (Engineering Operations, Finance, Facilities, Quality & Admin)

- Other Standard & Recurring JV's (including accruals, pre-paid and deferrals)

Fixed Asset Control:

- Fix asset register reconciliation with ledgers

- Depreciation check & verification

- Ensure Physical Audit & Tagging of assets-once in a year

Revenue Accounting:

- Ensure timely receivables from customers

- Timely collection of C forms
