Our client is a leading Auto Manufacturing company.  The Security Manager will be based at the manufacturing plant situated off Chennai, India and to oversee all aspects of physical security activities and associated processes in all the group Companies and assets in India.  The role, involves - among other, the following responsibilities:  - Physical responsibilities will include asset protection, emergency management, workplace violence prevention, access control systems, video surveillance, expat protection and more.   - Evaluation and execution of cost saving / efficiency programs, like base ratio programs, lean management, etc  - Maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies.   - Develop, coordinate and implement comprehensive training program for Physical security personnel to handle job responsibilities, emergency situation and rescue.   - Responsible for dealing with crisis situation such as civil strife, accidents, emergencies, workplace violence and various types of threat in current security environment.   - Be physically present in major incidents to oversee and monitor the entire activities  - Enforcing preventive, protective and precautionary measures against theft, pilferage, sabotage and subversive activities.   Ideally you would have about 10yrs experience in Security Services:  - Ex-Commissioned officers of Army/ Navy/ Air-Force or Ex-paramilitary or police officers in the rank of DSP and above with at least 5+ years of POST Services experience in a Manufacturing Industry Environment is a must for this role.  - TAMIL Language is a highly preferred for this position.  - Age should be below 40 years  - Self-reliant, capable of working individually and as a proactive team member with minimal direct supervision.  - Strong leadership skills to manage a small security team & hundreds of security guards.  - With good communication presentation skills and well versed in computer skills, particularly MS office.
