Describe the broad function and scope of the position :  - Accountable for the end to end delivery and support of all Global Order Management systems. This includes SAP and Non-SAP applications  - Lead and build a team of Order Management functional experts who deliver business value through their expertise and help drive growth in business  - Developing the IS strategy/roadmap for building specific capabilities to enable business in meeting strategic objectives.   - Build robust IT solutions which are sustainable and drive Application Rationalization and Process Harmonization  - Ensure project delivery excellence in line with laid out business objectives at lowest possible costs, in agreed timeline and realizing business benefits  Competencies/Abilities :   - Ability to influence and engage others  - Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues  - Strong written and oral communications skills  - Professional maturity & good business acumen  - Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction, co-operation and trust  - Ability to lead internal and external resources through influence  - Ability to see beyond current situations towards higher level process/systems improvements  - Strong systems aptitude and strong business process understanding  - Strong problem solving skills with ability to see beyond the obvious  - Deep understanding of the following Order Management related processes:  a) Manage Customer Data  b) Manage Pricing and Quotations  c) Capture and process sales order  d) Manage Inter/Intra Company Order  e) Manage inventory allocations  f) Manage Availability to promise  g) Measure and Report Performance  - Understanding of the touch points with Logistics Operations processes such as Order fulfilment and Inventory reservations, Inventory shipment, Global Available to Promise checks, Returns Order processing etc.  - Understanding of the touch points with Commercial, Front-Office processes such as Sales Promotions, Product pricing strategies, Trade Terms and Conditions etc.  - Understanding of the touch points with Supply Chain Planning processes such as Demand Forecasting.  From a technology point of view, a strong understanding of the following platforms is required :  a) Sales and Distribution module of SAP and associated Master Data/Configuration elements  b) Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) to cover digital interaction with Customers to support the Ordering, Shipment, Invoicing processes.  c) Analytics Toolsets such as SAP Business Intelligence  d) Retail/Customer Insights or Point of Sales Data
