Hiring for candidate for the role of Manager Legal & Compliance for a leading General Insurance Company based out of Mumbai location.   Candidates from Insurance background are preferred.  Profile : To ensure effective drafting and vetting of legal documents, assist business team in licensing of Insurance Intermediaries and find solutions to all kinds of legal queries and ensure all legal and statutory compliance for the Company.  Responsibilities : Drafting & Vetting of agreements / contracts for various functions excluding HR, Admin and IT related and thereby ensuring that the terms and conditions and commercials in the agreement are legally correct.  - Knowledge of Insurance and other applicable laws and keep track of the legislative and judicial developments.  - Ensure Legal, Regulatory and Statutory compliances and related issues for the company.  - Assisting business team in tie-ups, corporate agency, referral, web aggregators, insurance brokers, IMDS, POS other business engagement  - Managing Critical Disputes  - PROJECTS-AML, BPMS  - Draft appropriate reply in regulatory compliance matters.  - Provide legal opinion on matters as and when required by various departments in the Company.  Skills & Competencies : Problem solving - recognizes problems and devises and implements plan of action. Proactive support to business team   - Communication/ Presentation Skills  - Time Management  Qualification and Experience : B.A. LLB (Hons) with work experience of 8 years.  Job Location : Mumbai  CTC : Shall not be a constraint for right candidate.
