Main Role (Overall Accountability) :
Directly responsible for the E-Learning and Learning and Development to staff in Retail Banking in order to facilitate the Bank to achieve its business objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
- Ensuring effective training programs are designed incorporating key learning principles and that training materials are aligned with organisational vision and core values
- Actively act as a learning relationship manager for various departments and work with business leaders and managers to identify training needs identifies opportunities to design, develop, and deploy e-learning and classroom content based on business needs.
- Design, develop and deliver induction programmes
- Professionally counselling employees on training needs and career development plans
- Evaluate and submit analysis report for the in-company L&D proposals, and organise and facilitate in-company training programs followed by analysis report, action plan and follow up
- Develop and manage structured development programs and curriculums for specific groups of staff and job families. Develop and implement long term roadmap certifications programs for different groups of staff.
- Promote use of innovative tools and participative methods of learning delivery of L&D Programs
- Promote the use of digital technologies for global communication and connectedness to support learning, i.e., content for computer-based, I-Pad, Mobile learning, etc.
- To ensure the current portfolio is maintained and that content is kept current in line with curriculum department requirements and industry standards
- Ensure compliance with all legal and legislative regulations that pertain to the job.
- Carry out all phases of L&D such as designing, developing, implementing and evaluating L&D programs.
- Ability to link development programs with talent management and career development of staff.
- Provide MIS and progress reports to management

Personnel Specifications :
- Minimum Bachelor degree/PG qualification
- Professional certifications in relevant L&D e.g. ASTD, CIPD, etc.is essential and banking related professional certifications is preferred.
- Good track record as banking professional before turning into learning and development. Minimum 7 years or more experience as banker in retail banking, operations, e-channels, sales, etc. Minimum 5 years experience in learning in financial service
- Proven track record in developing and managing e-learning programs and e-learning projects
- Proven capabilities in developing curriculums of roadmap accredited programs for different job families in the bank.
- Experience across all facets of learning & development including capability assessments, curriculum development for different job families in the retail banking (branch managers, regional managers, personal bankers, priority banking, selling skills, customer service, etc.)
- Well-versed with the practice of L&D including all phases of the ADDIE model, particularly adult learning, learning and development needs analysis and evaluation of L&D
- Expertise in developing on-boarding and induction programs
- Proficient in all stages of L&D from designing and developing contents, into delivering and evaluation of the learning programs
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic with outstanding capabilities in delivering highly engaging classroom workshops
- Ability to work in teams and lead and develop other trainers
- Proven capabilities and mastery of L&D development applications such as PowerPoint, Prezi, etc. as well as L&D Admin systems such as SAP, Oracle.
- Proven abilities in developing, analysing presenting data from different sources
