Provides overall direction for sites leadership and management development initiatives for Learning within the Human Resources function of GFO.

This role entails driving the Learning & Talent requirements across the life cycle of employees in GFO including

- Learning Needs Analysis- Ongoing

- Evaluate existing solutions

- Design & Develop interventions where relevant

- Efficient & seamless Implementation of solutions

- Measure effectiveness of the solutions

The role will need to provide specialist L&D support and guidance to employees under three broad categories:

- Business & functional Training covering specific HSBC products, business economics, market drivers, etc.

- Technical Training covering GAAP standards, IFRS, certifications, Finance Gold, etc.

- Leadership & Management Training covering coaching/ feedback, Situational Leadership, Leadership effectiveness, etc.

Also it would require working on improving support leadership on GFO retention strategy and employee development.

- Typically this role will ensure appropriate learning interventions are planned and delivered to meet the priority requirements on time and within budget. This position will work very closely with the central Global Finance Academy and global L&D functions for the Business & Technical trainings. This role will require to proactively link learning to other people related activities e.g. talent, career development and performance management.

Skills/Experience Required :

- 8-10 years of Learning and Business / Operations experience

- Stand up Training Delivery across Product, On boarding, Behavioral Programs - Leadership Programs an added advantage

- Experience in managing / building processes in learning / operations

- Ability to work on MI and analyse data to seek improvements / changes

- Prior experience in Finance / Finance Operations area.

- Stand up Training Delivery preferred
