Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:

- The L & D team is driven to enhance productivity and competitive edge through specific learning and development initiatives aimed at raising the skills, capabilities, and knowledge of its employees.

- As a part of this team, the incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, executing and managing leadership and managerial training programs based on organizational, functional and employee needs.

Major Activities include:

Incumbent is responsible for:

- Analyzing training-need-assessments to define and develop leadership and managerial programs in terms of objectives, implementation plan and program effectiveness measures

- Independently designing and developing leadership and managerial programs and corresponding training materials, based on business needs, and integrating them to a globally available deployment model

- Independently facilitating existing/newly designed programs for junior and middle management

- Conceptualization and implementation of function-specific programs/customized interventions

- Life Cycle Management of existing programs - Planning, customizing, coordinating and organizing training programs, including logistics planning. Reviewing and modifying existing programs based on feedback.

- Identifying, contract negotiating and managing partnerships with external trainers/vendors

- Ensuring that all planned programs are within departmental budgets and timelines.

- Benchmark with industry best practices and industry developments in training and organizational development and apply and adapt the same internally

Key Performance Indicators:

- Program Feedback scores

- Flawless program management

- % Target Audience Coverage and within timelines

Person Specification:

- Instructional Design certified

- Exposure to developing and conducting training in a consulting environment/organization

- Any added training certification will be a plus

- Design and deliver training programs that address training needs on an ongoing basis. Get detailed understanding of training requirements from internal stakeholders and develop/modify content accordingly.

- Assess training effectiveness based on identified parameters for training programs got conducted. Execute roll out of training interventions including timelines, target audience and location. Arrange training logistics (with support of Operations Support) and drive delivery of training.

- Operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area.

- Capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.

- Capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.

- Demonstrate a level of flexibility in resolving problems/issues that at least to in-depth command of all techniques, processes, tools and standards, within the relevant field of specialisation.

- Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques.

Education : Post Graduate with a HR specialization

- Leadership training is mandatory
