Manager International Tax  A Telecom giant is looking people for Mgr International Tax role :  The job position would be responsible for :   - Governance of tax matters in Africa, Netherlands and Other foreign subsidiaries  - Ensuring direct and indirect tax compliances (viz payment of taxes, filing of statutory returns etc) of Foreign subsidiaries of company in 8 countries viz USA, UK, Singapore, Mauritius, Hong Kong, France, Japan, Canada   - Handling tax assessments in Africa, Netherlands and Other Foreign subsidiaries  - Assistance in maintaining transfer pricing documentation in Foreign subsidiaries   - Advisory support to Business teams and exploring planning opportunities in relation to new ventures and transactions  Expected Key Results :  - Assist the team in identifying tax planning opportunities  - Governance of tax matters in Africa, Netherlands and Other Foreign Subsidiaries  - Ensure 100% Tax Compliances of Netherlands and Foreign Subsidiaries  - Correct transfer price for transactions between group entities  - Ensure correct Tax accounting and provisioning in Foreign Subsidiaries  Key competencies :  - Strong Technical knowledge of Direct and Indirect tax laws of overseas countries like Singapore, Mauritius, UK, US Japan, France, HK. Knowledge of African countries will be preferred.  - Experience and knowledge in accounting for income taxes and Deferred tax provisioning.  - Basic understanding of transfer pricing issues and documentation.  - Strong skills in the analysis of the balance sheet, income statements and related schedules.  - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal to communicate effectively with consultants in different countries, all levels of staff, management, and other teams  Educational Level : Chartered Accountant  Must have :   - At least 4 years of experience in taxation in industry including experience in dealing with tax laws of overseas countries.
