Manager - International DCM

Brief Background :

The position will be responsible for building the investor facing business of the DCM franchise of the bank out of the banks Singapore office. In this role, the person is expected to indentify, engage, onboard and cultivate the investor relationship so as to enable distribution of fixed income products, primarily USD cash bonds, Onshore\Offshore INR Bonds to eligible investors.

Job Responsibilities :

- Sales of Bonds to Fixed Income Investors

- Facilitate sales of Indian Fixed Income Products to eligible international investors

- Identifying, on-boarding and Managing relationship with Investors for any fixed income opportunity, primarily cash bonds and related products

- Coordinating with other lead managers and internal stakeholders like Trading and Compliance teams.

Key Relationships :

- Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Private Banks, Insurance Companies, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Commercial Banks

Competencies Required :

- Strong understanding of Fixed Income markets & macro economic environment, good understanding of credit profile of corporates, understand credit ratings, pricing of credit spreads, valuation of bonds, ability to build relationships with sophisticated investors coupled with good understanding of the fund management industry and investment behaviour of firms.

- Ideal candidate should be an MBA or CA and have an overall 7-8 years of experience in fixed income sales or credit analysis and research out of which at least 2-3 years experience on the Institutional Sales desks of leading bank or brokerage firm based in Singapore \ Hong Kong.
