Manager - Indirect Tax - LLB/CA - Oil & Gas/Power

YOUR ROLE SUMMARY :

In this role, you will be responsible for Indirect taxation related litigation and advisory work,assist in GST implementation for the company

YOUR ROLE SPECIFICATIONS :

- Drafting responses to Show cause notices, appeals before Commissioner (Appeals),appeals before CESTAT and writ petitions.

- Attend personal hearings before adjudicating authorities, appellate authorities in relation to various litigation matters under Excise, VAT, Service tax and other indirect tax.

- Extend advise to the business on various indirect tax related issues such as refunds, rebates, cenvat credit, VAT set offs, FTP provisions.

- Updating the team with latest developments on GST and other indirect taxes, indirect taxation caselaws etc.

- Maintenance and circulation of pendency list on upcoming replies/ appeals/ personal hearings, updation of contingent liabilities, Deposit statements and document management on matters handled.

QUALIFICATION :

- Educational Qualification - LLB/CA . Both qualification would be preferred.

- Around 8-9years hands-on experience in handling Indirect tax litigation and advisory.
