About our Client: Our client is a multi-billion dollar global telecommunications and media company. They offer voice, mobile, internet access, other entertainment products and services. With India being a strategic growth market, they are looking at considerable growth in the India market and are thus looking for their HR Manager to head HR for them in India.

Job Description: Reporting into the South East Asia head of HR, your responsibilities will include:

- Assist in effective implementation of all human resource policies and procedures

- Pro-actively handle day-to-day operational aspects but also contribute at a strategic level

- Complete HR transactional work including local recruitment, local on boarding procedures, induction, local C&B administration, payroll supervision, training logistics, etc.

Create and maintain personnel files:

- Keep organized, updated with flow of paperwork as required by the Department of Labor, create new personnel files for new hires

- Maintain employee data in HRIS system

- Drive development, remuneration and performance management programs

- Assist People Managers in addressing employee performance issues in a timely manner

- Manage payroll data in conjunction with an outsourced vendor

- Own the employee life cycle changes example : probation, promotion and termination etc.

- Manage the successful implementation of all regional HR initiatives

- Maintain effective communication to keep the regional HR team apprised with critical people and country issues

- Assist in deploying projects as undertaken by the HR Managers as and when

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 8-10 years of experience in an HR Generalist functions owning all functions within HR.

- Exposure to working in a matrix organization and dealing with global stakeholders is required.

- MBA from a tier 1 institute is highly desired.
