Role: Manager - Group Actuary

Scope: To handle quotations, pricing, valuation and reinsurance for group products

Company: A leading Life Insurer

Location: Mumbai

Reporting: Head of Actuary

Job Role

1. Issuance of quotations of Group Term, Group Credit Life, Group Micro-insurance

2. Pricing of Group Gratuity, Group Superannuation, Leave encashment etc.

3. Actuarial valuation of group liability

4. Reinsurance negotiation for group insurance

5. Liaise with sales & marketing teams for group products

6. Managing team of executives

Candidate profile

- Broad knowledge & understanding of actuarial work – minimum 6 papers passed

- Only people with thorough knowledge of group insurance with a minimum experience of 4 years in group actuarial should apply

- Knowledge on group related reporting works

- Understanding of regulatory provisions relating to Group Insurance

- Good communication, presenatation & negotiation skills

- A sufficiently mature & reasonable person

- Capable of liaising with the sales team, operations, IT, Finance, Underwriting teams
