Position Title: Manager- Group Accounting-India  Location: Gurgaon  Qualification : Possess an Accountancy degree, CCA or CPA   Experience : 10-12 Years, With audit background from the big 4 Accounting firm at Senior Supervisor or Audit Manager level  Key Skills/Competencies:  - Sound knowledge of International Accounting Standards and Principles  - Solid understanding of both corporate and operational accounting issues   - Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.  - Hands-on and individual contributor  - Strong initiative and able to lead projects independently  - Nice to Have: Previous experience in performing general accounting & reporting and group consolidation will have definite advantage  Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility  - Provides direct support and assistance to Director, Accounting and Financial Reporting.   - Participate in the consolidation in compliance with IFRS (monthly)  - Participate in the preparation of the quarterly results package under IFRS for submission to the shareholders and liaise with Group controllers and auditors for audit review.  - Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, capital, revenue and expenditures, and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement and other reports to summarize and interpret current group financial position for management review each period.  - Assumes responsibility for the effective preparation, maintenance, and reporting of internal and external financial records and analyses  - Maintain a dynamic system of internal control and procedures. This ensure reliable financial record keeping, transparent financial reporting and disclosure, and efficient use of resources.  - Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with external auditors, tax consultants and management.  - Ensure consolidated financial accounts of the company are prepared accurately on a timely basis and in compliance with IFRS  - The quarterly financial reports and analysis for reporting are produced accurately and timely for each quarter  - Meeting the reporting deadline set by the shareholders.  - Prepare and maintain and report of ‘value-added; financial records and analyses
