The major activities include:  Compensation and Benefits :   - Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.  - Help build and maintain employee understanding and appreciation of the value of compensation and benefits programs through effective implementation and communication.  - Mediate between benefits providers and employees by assisting in handling employees' benefits-related questions or taking suggestions and feedback.  - Run regular analyses to ensure market competitiveness of our population locally.  - Conduct yearly salary surveys, analyze results, recommend salary ranges, summarize market trends.  - Provide adhoc benchmarks (in collaboration with survey providers if necessary).   - Administer year-end merit and annual promotion processes in collaboration with business heads.  - Internal and External Equity: Prepare reports for Internal Equity and suggest corrective measures as and when required. Actively participate and seek external data for all positions.  - New Employee Offer preparation and Negotiation. Act as a bridge between Talent Acquisition - Candidate - Business for all offers.  - Provide counsel and recommendation on offers within the framework of the C&B Operating Guidelines (escalate exceptions/special cases )  - Ensure compliance with all local legislation and regulations regarding compensation and benefits programs.  Annual Appraisal (PMDP) :   - Implement and execute the Annual appraisal process and 360 degree feedback process, including promotions/progressions/designation changes /increments in collaborative participation with the business leaders   - Conduct Training sessions for employees on the PMDP process.  Variable Compensation :   - Design Incentive programs aligned to drive required business behavior.  - Ensure that the incentive schemes are communicated and implemented as per process for all employees.  HRIS and Analytics :   - Manage and input Comp and Benefit data in HRIS.  - Prepare dashboard dockets related to C & B Functions.  - Provide standard and customized reports to business and functional heads as needed  Payroll :   - Responsible for overall payroll for all employees. Includes collecting and collating of inputs, coordination with the vendor, validation and salary payouts / queries.  Statutory Compliance :   - Responsible for all statutory compliance as per Shops and Establishments Act and Factories Act  - Study legislation, market, arbitration decisions, to assess industry trends.  - Ensure compensation policies are in line with government regulations and prevailing wage rates.  Qualifications And Experience :  - The candidate should have relevant experience in compensation and benefits of around 8- 12 years.  - Should hold an MBA degree from a premium institute. Certificate in Compensation and Benefits will be an added advantage.
