Manager - Collateral - BFSI

Purpose of the role:

Key Responsibility Descriptive Parameters

1. Collateral additions:

Oversee verification process and handle escalations if any so as to ensure compliance.

Approval of collaterals presented and interface with custodians to ensure error free operations.

Approve and authorise collateral according to SEBI norms and checklists.

Escalation with impact in case of errors / problems

2. Collateral release :

Verify and take actions towards failsafe options in case of problems.

Approve collateral release only after rechecking documentation and compliance.

Disburse interest payments on G-sec in a time bound manner

Coordinate and handle Escalation with impact in case of errors / problems

3. Interface with banks/members/Custodians :

Maintain relationships with the empanelled banks and track updates in their net worth for approval purposes.

Monitor and verify the bank guarantees offered by members to ensure they meet norms.

Role Description for: Manager Collateral

To manage collaterals receipts, approve collateral release by coordinating with chief manager and implement norms set by the organization.

Role Holder Requirements :

Educational Qualifications Essential - CA/ MBA Finance Degree Desired - NA Role Requirements - Understanding of the financial and capital markets.

Experience Essential - 8-12 years experience in the Finance sector with BFSI or BPO arm of Financial organisations.

Desired - Experience with institutional brokers
