Manager - Central Strategy - Ratan Tata backed B2B eCommerce startup

- Founded by a former Google leadership team member with experience in building global products and running sales across Asia, the company is an e-commerce company specializing in B2B procurement of industrial products. The business model of the company got further validation when Mr. Ratan Tata picked up a stake in it. It has also raised a pre-Series A funding from Accel Partners and Jungle Ventures. The funds are being used to enhance the technology platform, build a deep supplier base as well as increase marketing spends across Asia.

- As a Strategy Manager, you will work directly with the CEO and founder of the company assisting him in various strategic initiatives, business diversification, investor relations management and MIS and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include the following :

- Business Intelligence and Market Research

- Sales forecasting and demand analysis

- Product Mix Optimization

- Board presentation / Monthly performance presentation

- Working closely with the leadership team to integrate and align all the strategy & operational goals

- Develop compelling, insightful recommendations through data, analysis and qualitative learning

- Create and monitor reports to help teams identify performance issues, trends and opportunities

- Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making at all levels

- Identify and prioritize the company's biggest challenges and strategic initiatives with the management team and champion them from start to finish with minimal guidance

- Project manage special initiatives from time to time

- Preparation of Annual Budgets & Rolling Forecasts to provide a framework for management control.

- Investor Management and assisting the management in fund raising

Candidate Profile :

- The candidate should be a B.Com with CA / CS

- The candidate should be able to effectively present inferences from complex data

- Strong Program management skills and Cross-functional work attitude

- Ability to understand complexity of business strategy in a tech-based B2B commerce start-up

- Strong willingness to get exposure to overall corporate strategy

- Orientation towards business intelligence & analytics

- Good communication skill (Verbal & Written)

- Good Analytical/ Reasoning/Logical Ability

- Should be well versed with Excel, Word & PPT and MIS Analytics

- Ready to work in challenging environment

- Educated in a tier 1 college
