Manager - Business Process Excellence

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Drive & Support various BPI initiatives to create additional bottom line and top line impact

- Identify & execute improvement opportunities by using BPI improvement methodologies in non-manufacturing domain of business (Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer & Supplier) in-line with BPI goals & strengths

- Create assessment tools & packages and also provide need based training on bench marking & assessment methods

- Maintaining strong relationship with project / program stakeholder

- To participate in projects and business initiatives as they arise

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Must be well versed with best practice of bench marking across variety of segments and developing unique solutions relating to specific business requirements

- Must be able to interface with Business Heads for understanding the Business strategy

- Must be able to perform Business process analysis using Value streams to identify the improvements across the value chain comprising functions like Sales & Distribution, Supply Chain and other allied functions

- Must be able to mentor Lean Six Sigma projects in Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution Domain, Supplier & Customer Domain

- Must be able to lead as program manager for all improvements in assigned Business Unit and plan for all project related activities like communication, training, reward and recognition etc.

- Must be able to develop & deploy customized business assessment model (quick & deep dive both)

- Must be able to establish Business Process Management System (BPMS) in Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) process

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must have total experience 10+ years. A consulting experience of 3-5 years in doing Business assessments, Supply chain & conducting financial analysis will be very useful

- Must possess excellent knowledge of Lean, Business Metrics, Business Functioning and Finance. Preferable a certified lean practitioner

- Must possess proficiency on Lean tools like Supermarket Implementation, Inventory Optimization, Inventory Policies, Kaizen Events, Kanban, Hijunka, Andon System etc

- Demonstrated problem solving & analytical skills

- Demonstrated experience in presenting and collaborating with project / program stakeholders

- B.Tech degree from a reputed institute.

- Certified Lean Practitioner, Certified SC Professional (APICS) and preferably a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

- International Travel could be at approx 30-40% given the project & program need.
