Manager Business Development (Home and Laundry Care Chemicals)

- Our client is a MNC, based out of USA, and is an innovation company that has been exploring, discovering, and creating ways to enhance people's lives since the 1800's.

- Working from their laboratories, application and development centers around the world, their scientists and engineers create coatings, specialty chemicals, and advanced additive and colorant technologies that transform the way we experience products from automotive plastics to children's art supplies.

- Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager (Home and Laundry Care Chemicals) based in Mumbai or New Delhi, India.

Responsibilities :

- Understand and analyze market data, historical customer trends and competitive/customer landscape to determine critical marketing objectives to grow regional market share.

- Develop market penetration case studies and strategies on new products or technologies

- Identify new growth opportunities, drive the initial success in new platforms and support growth of initial success with replication at new accounts.

- Assess business situation and formulate marketing strategies to capitalize on strategic growth opportunities with specific focus on Consumer Product Companies in Home and Laundry Care (colorants, additives, etc).

- Support regional sales team members to provide necessary information and implement marketing strategies for the individual product line.

- Build up strong rapport with key industry players including customers and other value chain partners to help build a solutions approach with customers.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other science

- 5+ years of experience in marketing / strategy / business development roles of increasing importance in a B-to-B -multinational in the industry catering to Home,Laundry Care & Personal Care.

- Fluent in English (speaking, reading comprehension and writing) and in Hindi.
