Role – Manager BCM

Location – Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Own, lead and present collaterals for client meetings and internal functions

- Own and lead all BCM related Audit requirements and attend Audits on BCM

- Own and lead all Pre- and Post-Sales support on BCM

- Support organizational BC/DR operational requirements

- Interface with business teams to provide support and guidance on implementation of BCM

- Lead, plan and execute projects on BCM/DR related communications and awareness programs

- Be involved in planning and coordination of BCM incidents

- Design and implement an appropriate BCM Audit program, implement processes for documentation and reviews with stakeholders and drive compliance and preparedness

- Plan, prepare for and represent the function in BCM Audits and undertake internal audits

- Undertake consulting assignments at offshore and onshore locations, if required

- Collate and maintain relevant MIS on BCM Auditing, Pre and Post-Sales support and Client facing activities, Client visit, consultancy engagements

- Actively support awareness building activities on BCM/DR best practices, policies and responsibilities

- Raise awareness and understanding by promoting the practice of sound Business Continuity and Risk Management

- Improve and enhance ‘Internal’ and ‘External’ Customer experience through direct and indirect efforts

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

- Graduate with an overall experience of 8-10 years of which at least 3-4 years are in junior leadership roles in BC/DR and Risk Management Planning services

- Relevant Certification in Risk Management / Business Continuity/ Information Security / Emergency Management / Project Management

- Have held responsibility of handling and leading Business Continuity and Risk Management at department/section level

- Fair understanding of best practices in Business continuity and Risk Management within IT /ITES/BPO

- Well experienced in Client interfacing [Pre- and Post-Sales], BCM Audits

- Skills and ability to work well with multiple teams from different departments

- Ability to successfully lead and drive new and /or critical time bound initiatives and tasks in a professional manner

- Ability to plan, organize, track and deliver against essential and changing targets on an ongoing basis

- Display and evidence high levels of self motivation, integrity, flexibility and an ability to achieve results within a set time frame

- Experience in handling internal and external stakeholders and building confidence and rapport to conduct business
