Main role (overall accountability) :

Responsible for leading the business and customer service objectives of the Corporate Branch with a view to achieving/ exceeding the budgetary targets and complying with the customer services norms and service level agreements.

Principal accountabilities :

Achieve business goals and yearly budgeted service targets in the following areas :

- Asset Products.

- Liability Products & Cross selling Referrals.

- Fee and Exchange income.

- Cost Control

Recovery of non Performing Assets : (Responsible for working in coordination with regional branch management and corporate credit to assist in recovery of nonperforming assets).

- Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all tangible physical assets of the branch such as furniture, vehicles, equipments etc and their proper upkeep in line with Corporate Image.

- Continuously monitor customer service standards and Branch Service Level Agreements to maintain high standard of customer services & take corrective action as appropriate

- Ensure that all Corporate branches activities / transactions are carried out in line with operational policies and procedures of the bank & CBO.

- Maintain a high level of staff moral, by motivating and training staff to excel in their performance.

- Participate in preparation of branch business plans and budgets based on the overall growth projected for the branch. Key components include forecasting volume, establishing performance standards and preparing case for capital expenditure. Monitor growth, expenditure and overheads in comparison to the budget.

- Maintain cordial relations with Wali / Municipality / ROP and other regulatory agencies within the local area to project the right image of the bank and ensure business growth.

- Perform various human resources management and administrative activities, including job assignments, scheduling leave, counseling and training on all new products & procedures introduced from time to time, ensure optimum utilization of staff in accordance with the report published.

- Plan for staff leave in advance without disturbing business while ensuring that all staff takes at least 2 weeks continuous leave.

- Establish strong relationship with corporate & direct business to the Branch. Conduct customer visit with ARMs / Unit Heads & submit visit report for each.

- Approve transactions in the system within assigned authorization limits.

Personal Specification :

- Professionally qualified in Banking/ Accounting/ Business.

- Over 7 Years experience with at least 2 years in a corporate branch operations role.

- Service & Sales Orientation.

- Good knowledge of corporate products and services, operational policies and procedures.

- Good oral and written communication skills so as to communicate credibly and effectively with all levels of customers

- Good interpersonal skills, tact, maturity and flexible approach.

- Knowledge of banking systems and PC Operations.
