Job Description for Associate - Legal - India Corporate Legal  Business Overview:  Comprising of commercial, employment, litigation and corporate secretarial, the team advises Organisation   India's domestic operations as well as supports the legal teams in AEJ, EMEA and the US by providing advice and assistance to all corporate functions including IT, HR, ESS and Facilities as well as by delivering non-transnational legal advice to global markets and investment banking.   The team also manages all of Organisation India's litigation, employment law and corporate secretarial matters and provides corporate secretarial support services to Company globally.  Position Overview :  The current position is for a lawyer who will work as a part of the India Corporate Commercial Legal team.  The India Corporate Commercial Legal team supports the India entities of Company and includes drafting, review, negotiation and finalization of commercial contracts including information technology, real estate,data privacy, etc.  The broad nature of work will be reviewing, drafting and negotiation of IT contracts and advisory on IT related issues. The candidate will report to the head of documentation within the India Corporate Commercial Legal team.  Position Specifications:  Experience 8 - 10 years post qualification  Qualification Law graduate  Role & Responsibilities:  Key Skills:  Mandatory Domain  - In depth experience in handling IT contracts and provide advice on IT related issues;  - Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and an eye for detail; Self-starter, problem solver and ability to work with minimal supervision;  - Strong analytical skills;  - Work efficiently and complete tasks under tight deadlines  - Experience in managing a team would be an added advantage  - Prior work experience with leading IT firms / practicing exclusively on IT side in leading law firms is preferable.
