Role

- The Manager Analytics will enable Shaadi.com with analytic insight to report designing and analysis for marketing & product channels. This position combines technical knowledge of reporting tools with strong analytical skills. In addition, they will be responsible for understanding the functional requirements of analytical infrastructure & ad hoc analysis tools. Additionally, this position ensures building of an accurate and robust web analytics reports by working with web tools & technology backend.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for analytical report designing, OLAP cube generation & ad hoc analysis.

- Define analytics and reporting needs by conducting meetings with key stakeholders, including both business and technical teams.

- Implement Reports and validate the data captured by working with the technology teams.

- Serve as technology expert related to tracking enhancements and reporting - participating in various web & tool integrations.

- Leverage heavily on multiple platforms to provide insightful business information on existing and new products.

- Directly manage the web analytics tools(s) such as Google Analytics & others.

- The focus will be to maintain accurate data reporting, handle advanced system configurations, and validate the data necessary to meet the objectives of the data needs

- Setup systems like Custom Tracking, A/B testing and many other useful techniques using Google Analytics & other software.

- The reports provided to various stakeholders must directly support in decision making & actionable product initiatives.

- Be aware of best practices in OLAP & Reporting industry & stay on top of recent trends.

- Take full ownership of validating data, tagging, auditing of code, captured from web analytics tool.

- Take part in scheduled trainings for various teams to impart detailed explanation of usage & meaning of metrics / reports.

Requirements

- 2-3+ years of experience using business analytics tools such as Pentaho, Business Objects etc.

- Strong Skills in SQL is required, MAP reduce will be added advantage.

- Should Understand Database Structures, OLAP cubes, ETL process.

- Programming in JAVA, PHP will be beneficial.

- Strong Excel skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple work requests and projects.

- Experience with an A/B and multivariate testing tool desired.

- Demonstrated to work independently on standard reporting and analysis as well as common ad-hoc requests.

Good to have -

- Understanding of BigData systems.

- Good Programming Skills

- Mumbai based
