Job Description: Manager Accounts  Client:  Our Client has been an integral part of Flexible Packaging industry's exponential growth for over 30 years. Their Sales Offices are located at Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Tirupur and service a large, ever-growing client base comprising the whos who of Indian and global giants from their Plants located in the West at Daman, in the North at Nalagarh and in the South at Bangalore.   Our Client caters to market segments across Foods, Beverages, Personal Care, Home Care, Health & Hygiene, Pharmaceutical, Agro-sector and others The provide solutions for Labels, Laminates, Specialty Flexibles and General Flexibles verticals.   Role:  The individual will be responsible for Accounts, Finance, Statutory Audit, Budget planning, Statutory and Plant Compliances, Direct and Indirect Taxes  Reporting to: Head-Finance & Accounts  Job Responsibilities:  Plant MIS:  - Wastage accounting and validation  - Inventory reporting  - Production reporting / validation  - Ensure periodic day to day accounting at all plants at Daman & Baddi  - Ensure periodic MIS reporting to Corporate - weekly / monthly / quarterly  Passing of Expense accounts:  - Repairs and maintenance of equipments  - Building maintenance  - Other miscellaneous expenditures  Regulatory and Compliance:  a) Factory licence renewal and maintenance  b) Electrical Power   c) Building Permits  d) Pollution Control Permits  e) Ensure all direct & indirect compliances at regular intervals on excise, VAT, service tax, TDS, etc  - Adherence to budget and take corrective actions on negative deviations  - Successful and timely completion of cost audit / internal audit as well as statutory audit   - Excise Department coordination  - Sales tax returns  - Capex - asset transfer formalities / liquidation / asset register maintenance   - Ensure physical stock taking is being done at regular intervals and deviations between system and physical stock is rectified   - Material transfer billing / procedures   - ERP implementation & maintenance in all the plants - leading to timely & accurate stock reconciliation report / consumption report / stock evaluation report etc  - IT Department Supervision  - Review, Streamline and implement policies and procedure relating to wastage disposal / overtime / PR expenses / inventory management / third party job work etc  - Build a capable and dependable Finance, Accounts and commercial team  - Contribute to any assignments from corporate from time to time  Competencies:  - Communication and interpersonal skills   - Leadership and management  - Professionalism and ethics  - Motivated, self-starter with proven ability to coach and lead team members  - Plan, prioritise and meet deadlines   Qualification & Experience: Inter CA / BCom  - 8-15 years of experience in a medium to large Manufacturing Setup in a similar capacity  - Exposure to SAP Accounting System  - Commercially savvy & hands on experience  Location: Daman  Prateema Salunke Sourcing Specialist Searchplus HR Solutions Pvt Ltd 204, Shanti Industrial Estate Sarojini Naidu Road, Mulund West Mumbai 400 080 Tel : 022 25939073
